How Your Belief System Affects The Law Of Attraction

law of attraction belief system

The way you think, defines your belief system and therefore, it affects the law of attraction.

The belief system is well rooted in us. Combining it with the law of attraction, can make room for arduous thought!

The sphere of control (a parenthesis on the locus of control)

This category includes all the events of your life over which you have direct and total control. Let’s think of an example to make you touch what I mean by hand. Imagine deciding to recover your body shape and to prepare a training program that includes five running sessions per week.

You decide to undertake it and the next day the time has come to go for a run. It is clear that the fact of training or not is totally under your control. This type of control is direct, without the possibility of external influences. If you want to go running you will go there. Of course, you can choose not go by justifying the decision with an excuse like it’s raining, it’s late, I’m tired, I’ll go there tomorrow. But this does not mean that you don’t have control of that action. In fact, it’s you who decides.

In practice, when something is in your sphere of control, your behaviour totally depends on your decisions.

The sphere of involvement (external locus of control)

The sphere of involvement encompasses the other two and includes everything that influences you – in the sense that it modifies your behaviours – but that you absolutely cannot control. Trivially, you can think about the weather. For example, tomorrow there could be a beautiful sun or rain. The two conditions would respectively have an effect on you, for example on your way of dressing. But you can’t control them and the only thing you can do is take note of them.

That is, when something is in your sphere of involvement. It means that it has a certain effect on you, but you cannot control the cause in any way.

The sphere of influence

Outside the sphere of what you can directly control you will find the category called influence: these are events and situations that you cannot manipulate at your convenience, but on which you can always somehow intervene.

For example, you can think of a sportsman who is part of a team and naturally hopes to take the field at the time of the competition. However, it is not he who decides the formation, but will have a coach who will do it independently. So, it could be that he happens to play or not to play: the last word belongs to others. However, the athlete can direct events in many ways. For example, if he trains well and gives his best during the week, his chances of playing increase; if he lacks respect for the coach, they decrease. In the same way, an employee who aims for promotion at work, can do his best to be efficient, decisive and useful, so as to push his superior to notice him and to grant him a career advancement.

Trivially, let’s think of a growth of followers on Instagram. In case you decide to publish two or more photos per week, you would probably have a higher growth than people that publish one picture per week. Plus, you could check the effect.

Ultimately, we say that when something is in your sphere of influence, you can direct events to a certain conclusion, but you cannot be sure that things will go exactly as you want.

Where does the law of attraction lie, despite your belief system

At this point, I think it’s interesting to know about the law of attraction in a context like the one I told you about today. In which of these three areas does it operate? I think it is easy to understand that the effect of the emotions you experience and your mental images is clear on everything you can control. Think for example of motivation, decisions, behaviours: it all depends on what you feel, when you are about to act.

But the law of attraction also applies to a higher level. In my opinion, its effect regards everything enclosed by your sphere of belief, is equally clear. The law of attraction expands your belief system. No one yet knows exactly how this occurs. The link between reality and the observer is always present and its action is constant and immutable. Can you also see a circle that closes?

The more you practice using the law of attraction the less events that concern you will become part of this area, which does not include control. Not everything in life is controllable, but most, certainly is.

Let’s talk about welcoming. It is necessary, welcoming and indulging everything you can’t control because even if you object to it, you won’t control it anyway. But rather events will control you and you will feel unnecessarily negative emotions.

The game is played in the other two spheres, with more focus on what you can influence but not completely control. Here is what is involved: your health, your friendships, your economic situation, your personal and professional realization, your culture, your relationship with the partner and your human growth, are only part of the list.

Conclusion

The more you focus on your goals and use your imagination well, the more you push these areas of your life within your sphere of control. It is a great opportunity to live well and reach the goals you want!
